The Fragrance

Dalika evokes something bright, almost joyful, while maintaining a deeper, addictive base. From the opening, one senses a soft, slightly liqueur-like facet, with an immediate warmth that attracts and intrigues. There's something rounded, almost syrupy, that gives an immersive sensation from the first seconds. Then, the fragrance becomes creamier and more gourmand, with a thick, velvety texture that reinforces this impression of comfort and addiction. Over time, Dalika darkens slightly and gains depth. The notes become warmer, almost chocolatey and resinous, with an enveloping sensation that lingers on the skin. The base is rich, sensual, and persistent, with a signature that oscillates between indulgence and sophistication, leaving a distinct and addictive imprint.

The brand

Parfums d'Elmar is a Swiss house founded by Elmar Métry, whose family crest adorns the logo of each bottle. His initial ambition was to create a house where luxury would not be a marketing promise but a material reality: the rarest ingredients, the highest concentration, and the most meticulously crafted object possible. The brand's technical singularity lies in its 35% concentration of perfume essences, which it calls Quintessence de Parfum. Whereas a classic perfume extract typically ranges from 20% to 30%, Parfums d'Elmar pushes this logic to its extreme to ensure a deep and long-lasting presence on the skin. To create these compositions, the house partnered with Mark Buxton, born in England, trained in Hamburg, and based in Paris, where he has been captivated by the city for over twenty years. The creator of the very first Comme des Garçons fragrance in 1994, and having signed creations for Givenchy, Cartier, Paco Rabanne, and Le Labo, Buxton is known for his motto: "Simplicity is the ultimate degree of luxury." His style, characterized by short and concentrated formulas where every note has a purpose, resonates directly with Elmar Métry's exacting standards. The bottles themselves are crafted from hand-polished crystal, topped with gold-plated caps adorned with over 360 crystals.
